What is tuning forks therapy?

Tuning forks therapy uses sound frequencies to bring harmony and balance to the body and energy field.

I have trained in Biofield Tuning with Eileen McKusick and Body Tuning with Dr. John Beaulieu, both pioneers in the field of sound healing. Drawing from their methods and inspiration, I have developed my own unique approach, integrating tuning forks with Reiki for a deep yet gentle healing experience.

Tuning forks are versatile tools with specific sound frequencies that resonate with different parts of the body and biofield. In my sessions, I use these frequencies to respond to patients symptoms and to work on subtle energy patterns, for example:

Clear distortions and stuck energy in the biofield.
Tune specific organs or body parts for improved functionality.
Work on the endocrine system for hormonal balance.
Support Shiatsu treatments by applying tuning forks to shiatsu/acupuncture points.

Each session is tailored to the individual, addressing specific needs and promoting relaxation, harmony, and vitality.

How Tuning Forks Therapy Works

Our energy field, or biofield, holds imprints of our life experiences, memories, emotions, and trauma. Much like the rings of a tree, these layers reflect the past. Stuck energy or distortions in the field caused by emotional trauma, stress, or blockages can manifest in patterns of tension, disease, pain, or emotional imbalance.

Using anatomy maps of the biofield and sound frequencies, I apply tuning forks to release stuck energy, clear old patterns, and restore balance. By harmonizing the energy field, we create space for healing and transformation, often uncovering and addressing unconscious blocks that affect health and wellbeing.

For those seeking a gentler yet powerful approach, I often combine tuning forks with Reiki. This fusion works not only on the energetic level but also provides a grounding, soothing experience for the nervous system.

What to Expect:

I usually conduct these sessions remotely, either offline (I just ask you to lie down at the time of the appointment) or via Zoom or in person.

However, during in-person sessions, I apply the tuning forks directly to the body or hold them over specific areas of the energy field. This creates a powerful resonance that works on both the physical and energetic layers of your being.

The sounds of the tuning forks are deeply soothing and incredibly relaxing; many people even drift off during the session. Acting as sonic tools within the quantum field, the sound frequencies make this treatment remarkably fast and effective.

In my experience, this method has been especially beneficial for pain relief, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Each session is carefully tailored to your specific needs—whether it’s clearing trauma, harmonizing the endocrine system, balancing energy centers, or alleviating pain.

Tuning Forks Therapy for Groups

Tuning forks therapy is not just for individual sessions—it can also be a powerful experience for groups. Whether in person or at a distance, the sound frequencies of the tuning forks create a harmonizing field that promotes relaxation, balance, and a sense of connection.

How Group Sessions Work

At a Distance or on Video: Group sessions can also be conducted remotely. I use an Energetic Hologram that represents everyone in the group.
Using the principles of energy healing and the tuning forks’ sound frequencies, I connect with the group’s shared intention or specific emotions or issues in the group field.
I often do a short guided meditation to start or may guide specific breathing or mention what is coming up, but often I let the sounds unfold organically, selecting the forks to respond to the emotional landscape and clearing process as it is happening. I sometimes add other sounds such as chimes, a rattle or a Tibetan Bowl.
Each participant tunes into the session from their own space, receiving the benefits of the sound vibrations as if we were all in the same room. I might work on specific energy patterns that may be common in the group, such as stress, grief, emotional release, or grounding.
Participants often report feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and more connected to themselves and often experience clarity and breakthroughs in the coming days, as well as good sleep and more calm.
